A cause I believe in!

This is Jordan…

Jordan is a former student of mine (for those of you who don’t know, I also work part-time in the school system…) who was diagnosed with ALL T-cell Leukemia back in February, 2009. Jordan has fought his TAIL off since then and is still fighting today (the treatment plan for boys diagnosed with ALL T-cell is 3 and a half years). Jordan is super blessed to have many people in his corner fighting just as hard…fighting for him, fighting for others to donate much needed blood, fighting to further research on childhood cancer.

His mom, Tina, is one of the biggest “fighters” (and cheerleader!!!!) in Jordan’s corner. Tina is currently training with a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society “Team In Training” and will be running a half-marathon in celebration of Jordan’s fight at the end of February. She is currently hosting an online auction to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She needs to raise $2500 in order to run her half-marathon.

I have donated a photography package worth $225 to the auction. This package includes an on-location photo shoot (within 30 miles from Kennesaw, Georgia) for up to six people and the rights to ten digital files from our session together. If you know that you are wanting to have a session with me at some point this year, this would be a fantastic time to purchase that session (at possibly less than you would pay otherwise) and support an incredible cause, as well! The photography package is good through November, 2011 – so, you still have plenty of time to redeem it, as well. You can receive more information about the auction here (there are some other awesome things listed, as well. Go look!): http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=181637631865423

The goal is to one day be able to say that childhood cancer has been eradicated and through such dedicated people, such as Tina, that goal is one day going to be a reality. Thank you all so much for looking and happy bidding!
