I met this awesome couple a few months back during their in-home maternity session. You know when you meet someone and you just click? I felt that way immediately with this mama-to-be. She is so friendly and warm and was a total dream to photograph! Her husband joined us at the end of the session and the love these two have for one another is so apparent. We sat around talking about their wedding after the session and I just had a blast with them.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago when I got to meet their precious new addition. She is simply perfect and very, very cute to boot! Just like the maternity session, we met at their home and they had one very specific request… “We don’t want any ‘baby in flower pots’ kind of poses.” Done and done! 🙂 I think this was my very first newborn session where I didn’t pull out anything except my camera and I loved it! I’m beginning to think that I might need to add these type of sessions to my newborn packages because there is just something so special about a newborn session that is completely lifestyle.

I tried to pare down the images in this blog post, but I just couldn’t get it down any further. Isn’t she precious?!
